(1) Applications, forms and other records of the department that establish the true identity of an applicant or licensee under this chapter are confidential public records under Iowa Code sections 22.7, 80G.3 and 321.189A. The fictitious license information itself is not confidential, except as provided in Iowa Code section 321.11.(2) The open public records of the department shall contain no information or indicator that would distinguish any undercover license issued under this chapter from any other driver's license issued by the department.(3) An undercover license issued under this chapter will appear on the driver's license record system.Iowa Admin.
