Sec. 2.
The filing of any pleading with the motor carrier division of the commission may be made through the United States mail or in person as follows:
(1) Filings made by mail shall be deemed to be filed on the date of receipt by the motor carrier division, except for exceptions to an order which are deemed to be received the date the document is deposited in the United States mail. All such filings shall be addressed to: Director of Transportation, Motor Carrier Division, Public Service Commission, 309 W. Washington Street, Suite 601, Indianapolis, IN 46204. (2)(A) Filings made in person shall be deemed to be filed on the date of receipt by the director of transportation, except that no filing shall be accepted outside of the regular business hours of the commission, and (B) the presiding officer at any hearing may permit appropriate pleadings to be filed at that hearing.
