Sec. 33.
(a) No person who has a communicable or infectious disease such as an open wound, an acute respiratory infection, or vomiting or diarrhea caused by an infection, shall work in a bed and breakfast establishment in any capacity in which epidemiological evidence indicates the person may spread the disease.(b) Employees shall thoroughly wash their hands and the exposed portions of their arms with soap and warm water before starting work, during work, as often as is necessary to keep them clean, and after smoking, eating, drinking, or using the toilet. Employees shall keep their fingernails clean and trimmed.(c) The outer clothing of all employees shall be clean.(d) Employees shall consume food only in areas that will not result in contamination of other food, equipment, utensils, or other items needing protection.(e) Employees shall not use tobacco in any form while engaged in food preparation or service, nor while in areas used for equipment or utensil washing or for food preparation.
