Sec. 30.
(a) At the time each resident is admitted, the facility must have physician orders for the resident's immediate care that are based on a physical examination that shall be performed by the attending physician or the attending physician's designee on the day of admission or not earlier than thirty (30) days prior to admission. The physical information shall be updated to include new medical information if the resident's condition has changed since the physical examination was completed. Written admission orders and the physical examination, both signed by the physician, shall be on the resident's record on admission or within forty-eight (48) hours after the resident is admitted to the facility.
