Section 410 IAC 1-2.5-51 - "Medical laboratory" defined

Sec. 51.

"Medical laboratory" means an entity that engages in the:

(1) biological;

(2) microbiological;

(3) serological;

(4) chemical;

(5) immunohematological;

(6) radioimmunological;

(7) hematological;

(8) cytological;

(9) pathological; or

(10) other; examination of materials derived from the human body for the detection, diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of any disease, infection, or impairment, or the assessment of human health. The term includes blood centers.
