Section 13-1-11.1 - Limiting testimony at public hearings and meetings

Interested persons shall have an opportunity to submit written and oral data, views, or arguments on agenda items in board meetings and on the subject matter specified in notices of public hearings. The presiding officer shall confine oral testimony to agenda items in board proceedings. Oral testimony at public hearings shall be confined to the matters for which the hearing has been called. In order to allow persons to have an equal amount of time to testify, the presiding officer may limit the amount of time for testimony per individual or per issue.
