Section 11-20-35 - Special monitoring for corrosivity characteristics(d) Community water supply systems shall identify whether the following construction materials are present in their distribution system and report to the department: (1) Lead from piping, solder, caulking, interior lining of distribution mains, alloys, and home plumbing;(2) Copper from piping and alloys, service lines, and home plumbing;(3) Galvanized piping, service lines, and home plumbing;(4) Ferrous piping materials such as cast iron and steel;(5) Asbestos cement pipe; and(6) In addition, the director may require identification and reporting of other materials of construction present in distribution systems that may contribute contaminants to the drinking water, such as: (A) Vinyl lined asbestos cement pipe; and(B) Coal tar lined pipes and tanks.[Eff 12/26/81; am and comp 3/7/92; am and comp 1/2/93; am and comp 12/15/94; am and comp 10/13/97; comp 9/7/99; comp 11/30/02; comp 12/16/05; comp 11/28/11; comp MAY 02 2014 ] (Auth: HRS §§ 340E-2, 340E-9) (Imp: HRS §§ 340E-2, 340E-9; 42 U.S.C. §§ 300g-1, 300g-2; 40 C.F.R.
