Section 11-20-17 - Reporting requirements(a) Except where a shorter period is specified in this chapter, the supplier of water shall report to the director the results of any test measurements or analysis required by this chapter: (1) Within the first ten days following the month in which the result is received; or(2) Within the first ten days following the end of the required monitoring period as stipulated by the director, whichever of these is shortest.(b) Except where a different reporting period is specified in this chapter, the supplier of water shall report to the director within forty-eight hours the failure to comply with any primary drinking water regulations (including failure to comply with monitoring requirements) set forth in this chapter.(c) The supplier of water need not report analytical results to the director in cases where a state laboratory performs the analysis and reports the results to the director's office which would normally receive such notification from the supplier.(d) The supplier of water, within ten days of completion of each public notification required pursuant to section 11-20-18, shall submit to the director a certification that it has fully complied with the public notification regulations. The water supplier must include with the certification a representative copy of each type of notice distributed, published, posted, made available to the persons served by the public water system, and to the media.(e) The supplier of water shall submit to the director within the time stated in the request copies of any records required to be maintained under section 11-20-19 or copies of any documents then in existence which the director or the administrator is entitled to inspect pursuant to the authority of P.L.
