Section 1795-16.0 - Students16.1 A midwifery student may only practice under the direct supervision of a licensed midwife.16.2 Direct supervision means that a licensed midwife will be personally present and immediately available within the treatment area to provide aid, direction, and instruction when procedures are being performed. All evaluations, progress notes, or chart entries must be co-signed by a licensed midwife.24 Del. Admin. Code § 1795-16.0
