For door types such as bifold, accordion, and pocket, the clear opening is measured when the door is in its most fully open position. SeeFig. 26b and 26c.
NOTE: A standard 36 inch (36" = 914mm) door with a standard hinge, will produce a clear opening of at least 32 inches (32"= 813mm).
