Section 4642 - Elevated Platforms and Transmission Enclosures(a) Elevated platforms shall be guarded as provided in Section 3210 of these orders.(b) Where belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, gears or shafting are within 15 inches horizontally or less than 7 feet above the platform, shield guards as provided in 4641 shall be used in addition to standard railing guards.Cal.
