Section 4264 - Plunger Control(a) Every plunger on hot chamber machines shall be equipped with a control interlocked with the die which will prevent the operation of the plunger prior to the closing of the die.(b) Every plunger on cold chamber machines shall be equipped with a control interlocked with the die which will prevent the operation of the plunger unless the die is completely open or completely closed.(c) For the removal of a stuck plug a cold chamber machine shall be equipped with two-hand controls, which operate the plunger only, and require concurrent use of both hands.Cal.
