Section 6180 - Rodenticides(a) Each applicant to register a pesticide that is a rodenticide shall submit biochemical data describing the metabolic pathway and the mode of action in animal models suitable for extrapolation of the data to people.(b) Anticoagulant rodenticide baits intended for home use shall contain a color additive of such intensity as to be readily evident.(c) Suggested dyes or anticoagulant baits are listed in the Department's Vertebrate Pest Control Handbook (Publication No. 410).(d) Baits containing strychnine shall be dyed with a green color additive as specified in the Department's Vertebrate Pest Control Handbook.(e) Subsections (b) and (c) do not apply to bird control materials or animal repellents.Cal.
