Section 73451 - Social Work Service Unit-Policies and Procedures(a) There shall be written patient care policies, procedures and job descriptions developed and maintained governing the provision of social service within the intermediate care facility, including all of the requirements of Section 73449, and the relating of these services to other patient care services. Such policies, procedures and job descriptions shall be developed whether provided by (1) an organized social service within the intermediate care facility or (2) a social worker employed on a part-time basis or (3) consultant services from a community agency.(b) The policies, procedures and job description shall be developed by the social worker in consultation with the Patient Care Policy Committee.Cal.
