Section 78347 - Optional Services(a) Optional services may be provided and may include: (1) Podiatry services provided by a podiatrist.(2) Optometric screening and advice provided for participants with vision problems by an ophthalmologist licensed by the Medical Board of California or an optometrist licensed by the State Board of Optometry.(3) Dental screening provided by a dentist.(4) Other services as approved by the Department.(b) Optional services need not be provided on the premises and the adult day health center shall assist the participant by arranging for an appointment, transportation to and from the provider and escort services if needed.Cal.
