Section 53230 - Facilities, Service Locations and Equipment(a) Each plan shall have available within the service area sufficient facilities, service sites and service locations to meet its contractual obligations.(b) Each facility shall meet the following requirements: (1) Licensing, and accreditation where applicable, by the appropriate agencies.(2) Continued compliance with licensing standards.(3) Compliance with all applicable local, state and federal standards including those for fire and safety.(c) Each plan shall assure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment. Plan providers shall make necessary provisions for proper sterilization of dressings, utensils, instruments and solutions used in the facility.
