Section 3 AAC 31.410 - Examination of viatical settlement providers, viatical settlement brokers, and viatical settlement representatives(a) The director may examine the affairs, transactions, accounts, records, and assets of a licensed or formerly licensed viatical settlement provider, viatical settlement broker, or viatical settlement representative.(b) In the place of an examination by the director, the director may accept a full examination report of the last recent examination of a licensed viatical settlement provider, viatical settlement broker, or viatical settlement representative certified to by the insurance supervisory official of another state, territory, commonwealth, or district of the United States.Eff. 8/25/2002, Register 163In 2010 the revisor of statutes, acting under AS 01.05.031, renumbered former AS 21.89.110 as AS 21.96.110.
