Section 12 AAC 56.085 - Lapsed licenses(a) To reinstate a deputy marine pilot or marine pilot license that has been lapsed for more than 60 days but less than one year, an applicant shall meet the requirements of 12 AAC 56.080 and pay the fees required in 12 AAC 02.105 and 12 AAC 02.240.(b) Except as provided in (c) of this section, to reinstate a deputy marine pilot or marine pilot license that has been lapsed for one year or more, an applicant shall (1) meet the requirements of 12 AAC 56.080;(2) pay the fees required in 12 AAC 02.105 and 12 AAC 02.240; and(3) take and pass the written and oral examinations required in 12 AAC 56.070 for the region where the applicant previously held a license.(c) In accordance with AS 08.01.100(d), a deputy marine pilot license that has been lapsed for five years or more may not be reinstated. A person whose deputy marine pilot license has been lapsed for five years or more may reapply for a new deputy marine pilot license and shall meet the requirements of a new applicant.Eff. 5/14/93, Register 126Authority:AS 08.01.100
