ACTION:

Proposed rule, extension of public-comment period.

SUMMARY:

The EPA is extending the period for providing comments on the proposed rule entitled, “Effluent Limitations Guidelines and Standards for the Steam Electric Power Generating Point Source Category,” published in the Federal Register on June 7, 2013, by 45 days.

DATES:

Comments. The public-comment period for the proposed rule published June 7, 2013, (78 FR 34432) is being extended by 45 days to September 20, 2013, in order to provide the public additional time to submit comments and supporting information.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Comment Period

In response to requests from stakeholders, the EPA is extending the previously announced public-comment period by 45 days. The public-comment period will end on September 20, 2013, rather than August 6, 2013.
