Supreme Court of Ohio
Dec 8, 1993
68 Ohio St. 3d 23 (Ohio 1993)

Opinion

No. 93-264

Submitted August 16, 1993 —

Decided December 8, 1993.

APPEAL from the Court of Appeals for Allen County, No. 1-92-106.

Appellant, Keith Parker, filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in the Court of Appeals for Allen County, alleging that appellees, the Ohio Parole Board and its members, denied him due process of law by not granting him a parole. The court of appeals dismissed the cause because appellant did not attach to the petition a copy of the commitment or cause of detention, as required by R.C. 2725.04(D).

The cause is before the court upon an appeal as of right.

Keith Parker, pro se.

The judgment of the court of appeals is affirmed based on Bloss v. Rogers (1992), 65 Ohio St.3d 145, 602 N.E.2d 602.

Judgment affirmed.

MOYER, C.J., A.W. SWEENEY, DOUGLAS, WRIGHT, RESNICK, F.E. SWEENEY and PFEIFER, JJ., concur.
