ORIGINAL PROCEEDING FROM WILLIAMSON COUNTY
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Relator has filed a petition for writ of mandamus, complaining that the Williamson County Clerk has not effectuated the filing of his civil suit, process of service, or made copies of the case files available to him. See Tex. R. App. P. 52. We have jurisdiction to issue a writ of mandamus against a district or county judge within our district or to enforce our jurisdiction. See Tex. Gov't Code § 22.221; In re Kramer, No. 03-17-00259-CV, 2017 WL 1832499, at *1 (Tex. App.—Austin May 4, 2017, orig. proceeding) (mem. op). We have no jurisdiction to issue a writ of mandamus against a district clerk unless such is necessary to enforce our jurisdiction. In re Washington, 7 S.W.3d 181, 182 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st Dist.] 1999, orig. proceeding) (per curiam). The petition for writ of mandamus is therefore dismissed for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(a).
