Section 293.14 - When does a compact or amendment take effect?(a) A compact or amendment, that is affirmatively approved or approved by operation of law, takes effect on the date that notice of its approval is published in the Federal Register.(b) The notice of affirmative approval or approval by operation of law must be published in the Federal Register within 90 days from the date the compact or amendment is received by the Office of Indian Gaming.
