CHERIE FAYE WOODWARD, Appellant v. BRIAN DAVID WOODWARD, Appellee

On Appeal from the 468th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 468-50207-2021

Before Chief Justice Burns, Justice Pedersen, and Justice Goldstein

ORDER

BILL PEDERSEN, III JUSTICE

We REINSTATE this appeal which we abated to allow the trial court an opportunity to comply with our May 22, 2023 order concerning certain documents and exhibits containing sensitive data. The reinstatement is for the sole purpose of determining appellant's June 22, 2023 verified motion to reconsider the emergency motion to stay execution of the appealed decree of divorce pending disposition of the appeal. The motion to reconsider also requests we review the record for evidence of the trial judge's bias against appellant and transfer the underlying case to a different judge "for the remainder of all issues."

We DENY the motion.

Our May 22nd order REMAINS IN EFFECT.

We again ABATE the appeal to allow the trial court to comply with our May 22nd order. The appeal will be reinstated no later than June 30, 2023.
