LAURIE A. VOIGHT APPELLANT v. KEVIN J. VOIGHT APPELLEE

FROM THE 324TH DISTRICT COURT OF TARRANT COUNTY
TRIAL COURT NO. 324-610645-17 MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant Laurie A. Voight filed a notice of appeal from the trial court's order holding her in contempt. Through her counsel, we sent Laurie a letter expressing our concern that we lack jurisdiction over the appeal and informing her that we would dismiss it unless she filed a response showing grounds for continuing it. See Tex. R. App. P. 44.3. In her response, Laurie agreed that we do not have jurisdiction over the appeal and that we should dismiss it. Because we have no jurisdiction over an appeal from a contempt order, we dismiss this appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 43.2(f); Iconic Motion Sports, LLC v. Grijalva, No. 02-17-00103-CV, 2017 WL 2471099, at *1-2 (Tex. App.—Fort Worth June 8, 2017, no pet.) (mem. op.); In re B.W.B., No. 02-14-00197-CV, 2014 WL 3696073, at *1 (Tex. App.—Fort Worth July 24, 2014, no pet.) (mem. op.).
