ORDER

Before the Court is appellant's March 29, 2018 request to review the record in order to file a pro se response to counsel's Anders brief. Due to a clerical error, appellant was informed that he would have to purchase the record. In fact, appellant is entitled to a free copy of the record so that he may formulate his response.

Accordingly, appellant's request is GRANTED to the extent we ORDER counsel to send appellant copies of the clerk's and reporter's records and to provide this Court, by July 6, 2018, with written verification that the record has been sent to appellant.

Appellant's pro se response to the Anders brief is due by August 20, 2018. If appellant does not file a pro se response by August 20, 2018, the appeal will be submitted upon the brief of counsel.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send a copy of this order, by electronic transmission, to counsel for the parties.

We further DIRECT the Clerk to send a copy of this order, by first-class mail, to Brandon Lonell Vester, TDCJ No. 02162590, Bill Clements Unit, 9601 Spur 591, Amarillo, Texas 79107-9606.
