The Court has received and filed the supplemental clerk's record and supplemental reporter's record requested in this Court's order issued March 22, 2018. The appeal is therefore reinstated.
After reviewing the supplemental records, the Court has determined that it is necessary for the parties to file letter briefs addressing whether Appellant is entitled to a new trial pursuant to TEX.R.APP.P. 34.6(f). Appellant's letter brief is due to be filed no later than June 17, 2018, and the State's letter brief in response shall be due no later than ten days after Appellant's letter brief is filed.
