Opinion Filed January 16, 2003. DO NOT PUBLISH, Tex.R.App.P. 47.

Appeal from the 203rd Judicial District Court, Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause Nos. F00-71293-TP, F00-71294-TP. DISMISSED.

Before Chief Justice THOMAS and Justices BRIDGES and FRANCIS.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Tony Toole was convicted of two aggravated sexual assault of a child offenses. Punishment, enhanced by two prior felony convictions, was assessed at twenty-five years confinement in each case. Sentence was imposed in open court on July 31, 2000. No motion for new trial was filed; thus, appellant's notices of appeal were due by August 30, 2000. See Tex. R. App. P. 26.2(a)(1). On January 18, 2002, appellant filed pro se notices of appeal. Because the notices of appeal are untimely, we do not have jurisdiction over the appeals. See Slaton v. State, 981 S.W.2d 208, 210 (Tex.Crim.App. 1998) (per curiam); Olivo v. State, 918 S.W.2d 519, 523 (Tex.Crim.App. 1996); Boyd v. State, 971 S.W.2d 603, 605-06 (Tex.App.-Dallas 1998, no pet.). Accordingly, we dismiss the appeals for want of jurisdiction.
