Tenant, as limited by his brief, appeals from that portion of an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, New York County (Arthur F. Engoron, J.), dated March 14, 2008, which granted landlord's motion to strike his demand for a jury trial.

Order (Arthur F. Engoron, J.), dated March 14, 2008, affirmed, without costs, for the reasons stated by Arthur F. Engoron, J. at Civil Court. ( See 11 Park Place Assoc. v Barnes, 204 AD2d 170, lv dismissed 83 NY2d 1000; Holrod Assoc. v Tomanovits, 120 Misc 2d 551.)
