Summary
In State v. Williams, 484 So.2d 662 (La. 1986), the Supreme Court amended a sentence of a six year term, a fine of $1000 and an additional year imprisonment in default of payment of the fine by deleting only that portion which imposes an additional year in prison in default of payment.

Granted. The conviction is affirmed. The sentence is amended, however, to delete only that portion which imposes one additional year in default of payment of the $1000.00 fine. Bearden v.
