CASE ANNOUNCEMENT

MOTION AND PROCEDURAL RULING

On review of order certifying a conflict. The court determines that a conflict exists. The parties are to brief the issue as stated in paragraph 12 of the court of appeals' decision: "May a child support obligor be prosecuted for failure to pay child support under R.C. 2919.21(B) where a child support order was in place for the time period specified in the charging document, but the charging document was filed after the child for whom support was owed had been emancipated and the child support obligation had terminated?" The conflict case is State v. Hubbard, 2018-Ohio-3627, 119 N.E.3d 798 (11th Dist.).

O'Connor, C.J., dissents.
