ORDER

Cary Douglas Pugh, Judge.

This case is currently set for trial at the Court's May 6, 2024, New Orleans, Louisiana trial session. On April 1, 2024, respondent filed a Motion for Continuance. To date, petitioner has not filed an Amended Petition and respondent has not filed an Answer in this case. Upon due consideration and for cause, it is hereby

ORDERED that respondents Motion for Continuance, filed April 1, 2024, is granted, and this case is stricken from the Court's May 6, 2024, New Orleans, Louisiana trial session and continued, and jurisdiction is retained by this Division of the Court. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before May 8, 2024, petitioner shall file an Amended Petition that complies with the Rules of the Court as to format and content of a proper petition.

Petitioner is advised that if she fails to file an Amended Petition, the Court will deem her to have abandoned her case and dismiss her case for failure to prosecute and enter decision for respondent.
