MEMORANDUM OPINION


DISMISSED On November 29, 2002, appellant filed a notice of appeal from his conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. On January 10, 2003, appellant filed a motion to dismiss seeking to withdraw his notice of appeal pursuant to Rule 42.2 of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. The motion was signed by appellant and supported by an affidavit. We grant the motion. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.2(a).
