Opinion

The plaintiff's petition for certification for appeal from the Appellate Court, 165 Conn.App. 429, 139 A.3d 752 (2016), is granted, limited to the following issue:

“Did the Appellate Court correctly affirm the trial court's judgment that there was no issue of material fact regarding the applicability of the substantial certainty exception to the exclusivity provision of the Workers' Compensation Act?”

ESPINOSA, J., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
