People v. Sanchez

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Oct 21, 1997
243 A.D.2d 334 (N.Y. App. Div. 1997)

Opinion

October 21, 1997

Appeal from the Supreme Court, Bronx County (Robert Cohen, J.).

The verdict was based on legally sufficient evidence and was not against the weight of the evidence. There was ample evidence from which the jury could find accessorial liability.

On the basis of the existing record, we conclude that defendant received effective assistance of counsel ( People v. Baldi, 54 N.Y.2d 137).

Concur — Murphy, P.J., Wallach, Nardelli, Tom and Colabella, JJ.
