SCHOOLS AND EDUCATION, § 163 — conflicting jurisdiction of high school districts over land. Proceeding under par. 97 of Illinois School Laws, commenced by filing petition to organize new high school district, takes precedence over proceeding under par. 104a, subsequently commenced by another district filing petition for annexation of land included within lands described in prior petition to establish high school district (Ill. Rev. Stat. ch. 122, pars. 97-97b, 104a; Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 123.102-123.103(1), 123.111(1).

Appeal from the Circuit Court of White county; the Hon. BLAINE HUFFMAN, Judge, presiding.
