EMINENT DOMAIN, § 309inadequacy of award for damage to realty. In action for damage to realty as result of certain public construction project, verdict of jury assessing plaintiff's damages at $5,000 was grossly inadequate and contrary to manifest weight of evidence.

Appeal from Circuit Court of Cook county; Hon. RAY D. HENSON, presiding.

Judgment entered April 3, 1940, reversed and cause remanded for a new trial. Heard in second division, first district, this court at December term, 1940.
