ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE
Peter J. Panuthos Special Trial Judge
When this case was called from the calendar of the Court's April 17, 2023, trial session for San Francisco, California, there was no appearance by or on behalf of petitioner. Counsel for respondent appeared and was heard. Respondent made an oral motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution.
Upon due consideration, and for cause more fully appearing in the transcript of the proceeding, it is
ORDERED that respondent's Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution is taken under advisement. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before June 16, 2023, petitioner shall show cause in writing why respondent's Motion to Dismiss for lack of Prosecution should not be granted and a decision entered in this case. Failure to respond to this order will likely result in the granting of respondent's motion and entry of decision against petitioner. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is hereby retained by the undersigned.
