ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

We REINSTATE this appeal.

On April 27, 2021, we abated this appeal and ordered the trial court to hold a hearing to determine why appellant's brief, initially due October 30, 2020, had not been filed. We ORDER appointed counsel Valencia Bush REMOVED from this appeal. We ORDER the trial court to appoint new counsel and to inform the Court of the name of counsel within 10 days of the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Ernest White, Presiding Judge, 194th Judicial District Court; Valencia Bush; to the Dallas County District Attorney; and to Christopher Rommell McKinney, TDCJ #02306260, Alfred Hughes Unit, Rt. 2 Box 4400, Gatesville, TX 76597.

We ABATE this appeal for the appointment of new counsel. The appeal will be reinstated upon receipt of the appointment of counsel or when the Court deems it appropriate to do so.
