DAMAGES, § 320when allowance of only nominal damages for libels is not abuse of trial court's discretion. In action to recover damages for libels alleged to have been published concerning plaintiffs in defendants' newspapers, held trial court did not abuse its discretion in allowing only nominal damages where there was no proof of actual monetary damages.

Appeal from Circuit Court of Cook county; Hon. DANIEL P. TRUDE, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in first division, first district, this court at October term, 1942.
