Jose Ramon Gonzalez v. Hazim

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Third District
Jun 19, 1990
562 So. 2d 850 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1990)

Opinion

No. 90-203.

June 19, 1990.

An Appeal from a non-final order of the Circuit Court for Dade County; Joseph M. Nadler, Judge.

Mendez and Mendez and Sergio Mendez, for appellant.

Sadow and Lynne and Maria E. Freisen, for appellee.

Before SCHWARTZ, C.J., and LEVY and GERSTEN, JJ.

We find no abuse of discretion in the trial court's refusal to dismiss a cross-claim under the forum non conveniens doctrine embodied in section 47.122, Florida Statutes (1989). See Tinwood, N.V. v. Figueredo, 523 So.2d 179 (Fla. 3d DCA 1988); Torres v. Torres, 561 So.2d 1310 (Fla. 3d DCA 1990).

Affirmed.
