JAMES JORDAN, Appellant v. CAROLE ANN TAGGART TRUST, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 4 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC-22-06925-D

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

The reporter's record in this appeal is overdue. By postcard dated June 21, 2023, we notified Vearneas Faggett, the Official Court Reporter for County Court at Law No. 4, that the record was overdue and directed her to file it within thirty days. To date, we have not received any response.

Accordingly, we ORDER Ms. Faggett to file, no later than August 22, 2023, the record or written verification that either no hearings were recorded or appellant has not requested the record. Because the clerk's record reflects appellant filed a statement of inability to afford costs, any record shall be filed without payment of costs. See TEX. R. CIV. P. 145.

We caution appellant that if Ms. Faggett notifies us that the record has not been requested, we will order the appeal submitted without the reporter's record. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(c).

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to the Honorable Dianne K. Jones, Presiding Judge of County Court at Law No. 4; Ms. Faggett; and the parties.
