ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE.
Before the Court is the State's motion to abate. We GRANT the motion and ORDER the trial court to hold a hearing and find whether there was a hearing on the motion for new trial filed June 6, 2019; the date of any hearing on the motion; whether the hearing was reported; and if it was reported, the identity of the court reporter who reported the hearing. The trial court shall transmit its written findings of fact, any supporting documentation, and any orders to this Court within THIRTY DAYS of the date of this order.
If the trial court finds there was a reported hearing on the motion for new trial filed June 6, 2019, then Charon Evans, Official Court Reporter for Criminal District Court No. 4, shall direct the court reporter for that hearing to prepare the reporter's record for the hearing and file it within THIRTY DAYS of the date of this order. The State's brief shall be due THIRTY DAYS after the trial court's findings are filed in this Court.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Dominique Collins, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 4, Dallas County; Charon Evans, Official Court Reporter for Criminal District Court No. 4; and counsel for all parties.
We ABATE these appeals for the trial court to comply with this order. The appeals shall be reinstated when the Court receives the trial court's findings or at such other time as the Court deems appropriate.
