IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION OF THOMAS E. NOBLE FOR A WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS

ORDER

This 4th day of June 2014, it appears to the Court that, on April 28, 2014, the Senior Court Clerk issued a notice to Thomas Noble to show cause why his petition should not be dismissed for this Court's lack of original jurisdiction to consider a petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Noble requested and was granted an extension of time to file his response until May 27, 2014. Noble has failed to respond to the notice to show cause within the required time period; therefore, dismissal of this action is deemed to be unopposed.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, pursuant to Supreme Court Rules 3(b) and 29(b), that the within appeal is DISMISSED.

BY THE COURT:

Henry duPont Ridgely

Justice
