ORDER
On August 31, 2021, the Court entered an order in In re K Opel-Burns, docket no. 357250, which required in part that Court Reporter Margot A. Games (CER 9561), and/or any other reporter who may be responsible for transcribing the complete transcripts in Hillsdale Circuit Court Docket No. 19-00672-NA, provide a cost estimate to appellant for transcribing the complete transcripts for this case within 14 days. On September 7, 2021, reporter Games notified the Court that recordings of hearings, which took place in the Hillsdale court, were forwarded to a court reporting service for transcription; the required cost estimate for transcribing those recordings was thereafter provided to appellant and this Court. On September 9, 2021, recordings of hearings, which occurred in Lenawee county related to this case, were mailed via certified mail to the Hillsdale court; yet, a cost estimate has not been provided by a reporter responsible for transcribing those recordings.
Therefore, it is ordered that no later than 7 days after the Clerk's certification of this order, Hillsdale County circuit court administrator Cindy Webb shall provide the Lenawee court recordings to a qualified court reporter willing to transcribe the Lenawee hearings and to ensure that the reporter provides an estimate of the cost for transcribing the Lenawee recordings. The estimate shall be sent to appellant via email at helpsavemydaughter911@gmail.com and via USPS to PO Box 243, Brooklyn, MI 49230. A copy of the estimate shall be filed in this Court. Cindy Webb's failure to comply with this order may result in an order requiring her to show cause why she has not complied and the assessment of costs. Upon receipt of the estimate, appellant shall pay the cost for all transcripts to the responsible reporter or reporters as required by the August 31, 2021 order. Her failure to do so may result in the dismissal of this appeal.
A copy of this order shall be provided to 1st Judicial Circuit Court Chief Judge Sara Lisznyai.
