From the County Court at Law No 2, Webb County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2015PB6000016 L2
Honorable Jesus Garza, Judge Presiding
ORDER
In this appeal, there was a dispute about the accuracy of the reporter's record for a motion in limine hearing on June 17, 2016. On March 24, 2017, we abated this appeal and remanded the cause to the trial court to resolve the dispute. See TEX. R. APP. P. 34.6(e)(3). We ordered the trial court to conduct a hearing and advised it that if it "finds any inaccuracy, it must order the court reporter to conform the reporter's record (including text and any exhibits) to what occurred in the trial court, and to file certified corrections in the appellate court." Id.
The trial court held a hearing, determined there were errors in the reporter's record, and ordered the court reporter to reform the record. On May 5, 2017, court reporter Blanca Z. Espericueta filed a reformed record for the June 17, 2016 hearing on the motion in limine. Our March 24, 2017 order is satisfied. We REINSTATE the appellate timetable. Appellant's brief is due on June 5, 2017. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(d). Any further motion for extension of time to file Appellant's brief is discouraged.
