313th District Court of Harris County, Trial court case number: 2023-00904J

ORDER

Sarah Beth Landau, Judge

Relator filed a mandamus petition challenging two separate Temporary Orders Following Full Adversary Hearing continuing the Department of Family & Protective Services' appointment as temporary managing conservator. The record indicates that the trial court ordered an initial permanency hearing in the case to be held October 10, 2023. Tex. Fam. Code § 263.201(a). Because a mandamus petition challenging a temporary order becomes moot when the order is no longer in effect or has been superseded, the Court requests that relator provide a supplemental record by December 5, 2023, containing any orders resulting from the permanency hearing and any other subsequent orders relevant to the mandamus petition.

It is so ORDERED.
