On July 26, 2023, the Commissioner filed an unopposed motion for extension of time requesting to extend the time to file a response (from July 27, 2023 until September 25, 2023) to petitioners' motion to strike with regards to invalidating 26 C.F.R sections 1.162-1, 1.162-7 and 1.162-8, filed on June 29, 2023. We will grant the relief. Accordingly, it is
ORDERED that the Commissioner's motion for extension of time is granted, in that the time in which the Commissioner shall file a response to the petitioners' motion to strike filed June 29, 2023, is extended until September 25, 2023.
