MEMORANDUM

Counsel for defendants has written a letter noting that none of the defendants was served with exhibits 1-8, which plaintiff refers to in his complaint. This is because exhibits 1-8 are documentation of plaintiff's efforts to exhaust his administrative remedies, which this court does consider to be a part of the complaint. However, it was oversight for this court to fail to note in the order granting plaintiff leave to proceed that it was holding plaintiff's exhibits in the court's file separate from the complaint, in the event defendants wish to examine them. I am so informing counsel for defendants of that fact now, and apologize for oversight.
