DISCOVERY AND INSPECTION, § 30 — penalty for failure to obey order for production. Where a defendant refused to produce documents called for by an order of court to produce, it was proper to strike defendant's answer and enter judgment as in the case of default (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1941, ch. 110, par. 259.17; Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 105.17).
