Melanie Lynn HAGNER, Appellant v. Juan Antonio VALDEZ Jr., Appellee

From the 407th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2023-CI-01683 Honorable Rosie Alvarado, Judge Presiding.

ORDER

Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice.

On September 22, 2023, attorney Kristine Padrique Brown filed a motion to withdraw as counsel for appellant. Appellant responded requesting this court grant the motion to withdraw and separately moved to strike "misleading statements from the appellate record."

The motion to withdraw satisfies the requirements of Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 6.5. See Tex.R.App.P. 6.5(a), (b). Accordingly, we grant the motion, order attorney Kristine Padrique Brown withdrawn as counsel for appellant, and deny appellant's motion.

Attorney Kristine Padrique Brown is ordered to immediately notify appellant, in writing, of any deadlines or settings that the attorney knows about at the time of withdrawal but that were not previously disclosed to the party. The withdrawing attorney must file a copy of that notice with this court's clerk.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 28th day of September, 2023.
